With a PayPal account you accept online payments of up to $2,000.00 and process them at a click of a button. In addition to accepting payments from PayPal members who wish to use their account, PayPal accepts credit card payments from non-PayPal members. This means that anyone with a credit card can make a purchase from you without joining anything. PayPal will process the order, deposit the funds directly into your account, send you an e-mail telling you who has made a purchase, what it was for and for how much, give you any shipping information you will need if a product was purchased, and it will send a confirming e-mail to a PayPal buyer. In return, PayPal collects a fee of 2.9% of the sale price. It costs nothing to set up a PayPal account and it is easy to do. All you need to know is your bank name, location, account number and routing number, and you are ready to begin.
